How do I apply?

Are there restrictions on who can borrow?

The borrowing entity must either be a company or, if an individual, the loan proceeds must be used predominantly for business purposes.

How long will it take to get a response?

We will usually be able to give you a real-time indication as to whether, in principle, we can fund the loan.

What happens after I submit an application form?

After we receive your application form, we will provide you with an indicative letter of offer. This contains the key terms of the loan, the fees and charges and any special conditions.

What are the fees and charges?

These are all set out in the indicative letter of offer. Where a valuation is required, you will be required to pay for the valuation upfront. You may also be required to pay Assetline Capital a loan evaluation fee. Additional fees charged (deducted from the funds advanced at settlement) are legal fees, search fees and establishment fees.

What assets do you accept as collateral?

We accept a wide range of property assets (1st and 2nd mortgages) including commercial, residential, industrial and raw land.

Do you do construction finance?

No. We lend against properties on an ‘as is, where is’ basis.

How long are the loans for?

Assetline Capital’s loans are for a minimum of 3 months and a maximum of 12 months.

Can interest be capitalised?

In certain instances, interest can be capitalised, subject to LVR guidelines.

How do I pay my interest?

Interest is payable into Assetline Capital’s bank account which will be noted on your loan contract.
